AND so much has happened over the last few days. Well Carter loves to stand - LOVES it! We have lowered his crib and boy did it go low. I was sad when Tommy was lowering it and I have no clue why...I guess cuz my little baby boy is growing up?? Carter is all over the place still. He loves to climb up the couch and then fall back down on his booty. He loves to go anywhere he isn't supposed to and will look back at me like "ha ha momma look what i'm doing".. and then takes off faster. He is so much fun! We played for a while saturday night and I had the BEST time with him. He was giggling and crawling and pulling up and falling down. He loves to read too - well he loves to be read to. That really seems to be his only calm time. If I plop him down on my lap and start reading a book he gets into this totally different mood where he is very calm. Of course we can't finish the book without him chewing on it but that is besides the point.
Yesterday we ate at the Old Mill restaurant with Tommy's family. It was a nice sunday buffet and we enjoyed it and the location. Of course the train came roaring by while grandpa had Carter outside and he was scared! He came in crying and rubbing his ear. He has been doing that all weekend and since he has no cold symptoms I have to believe it is because of his teething. He has his top two teeth now. They aren't all the way down but they are getting there.
Mommy is still pumping but not b'feeding anymore. Once they have four teeth folks that is all she wrote. Thanks in advance. ;)
This morning I dropped the gate down to Carter's crib (while he was still asleep), turned around to grab a diaper and turned back around and Carter was standing in his crib holding on the the gate bottom. LOL. I didn't even hear him get up - SNEAKY ;) He's just the best baby ever and I love him so much. I look forward to all these wonderful memories I get to make with him for the rest of his life - good and bad. Hopefully more good though :)

Love all the details you're recording. The stages seem to go by so fast, don't they? Kate is walking more than crawling now--although I am excited for her walking abilities, I am kind of sad that she won't be crawling around anymore. So I know what you mean about being sad that the crib mattress is lowered. It really does go by so fast! OK, I am getting a little teary just thinking about this stuff!! LOL! What is wrong with me?!
BTW, LOL @ TIA!
