Today was my first self-injection ...

and it was a piece of cake! I was so worried about having to do this and hubby told me he would do for me if I would wake him up, but I decided to get the guts and just do it! I got all my materials together, wiped off bottle with alcohol swab, wiped off tummy with alcohol swab, filled up syringe to 10 units (.1) and got the air out and then pinched up my skin and jabbed it in. The needle is so skinny that you barely feel it. You have a sort of burning feeling in injection area for a few minutes and then it goes away. So far no side effects that I note.

Yesterday the nurse called to give us our lab results / semen analysis results. They took my blood yesterday morning to monitor my progesterone ($105 bucks) and my level was 19.67 (they want to see 5 or above to see if you have ovulated). Tommy's semen results were: count 77 million (they want to see 20 million or more), Mobility: 91% (they want to see 50% or more), Morphology: 3% (they want to see 3%). So everything is a go and we are on our way...
