I ended up taking the shot at 7pm. I watched the video and it said to let the medication warm to room temperature - I'm not sure it fully did that but oh well...it is room temperature for tonight's injection. I flicked the needle/pen too hard to move the air bubble to the top and some of the med came out the tip of the needle - and since i hit the needle by mistake in my enthusiasm (HA HA) I had to change out the needle too - I hope I didnt lose too much of it :( It's like gold with how expensive it is!! $550/vial!!! The vial is so tiny too! Ugh..so i take 225 units a day right now (one shot daily) and there is 900 units in the vial - so i'm 1/4 the way through it already. This shot did hurt a little more than the lupron shots. I'm not sure why. The needle looks similar. Maybe it is because my tummy area is getting sore from being poked so much!! But I did the shot and left the needle in for 5 additional seconds for the meds to get out and then put it back in its storage case.
My husband and I also started our antibiotics yesterday. He started his in the morning and i started mine in the evening (i forgot my pill at home so i had to start a little late).
I really hope I respond well to the meds....I still cant wait for sunday! We also have to sign all our paperwork sunday and we may or may not go over the selective reduction - which means if I do get pregnant with multiples - how do we want to proceed. This is the main thing on my mind right now. That and another possible ectopic. I don't think I could handle another one of those :(

question for you... how long (if any) will you stay on bedrest after your transfer? I hear that it's not necessarily proven that assists with implanting, but I want to help as much as I can!! Have you heard anything?

Stacy- My friend didnt rest at all and she is pregnant! I plan on taking the day off and taking it easy but that is about it.

that's good to know! thanks! my old boss stayed in bed for like 72 hours straight - only get up to go pee!! she was a little overboard though i guess. ha!ha! she ended up pregnant, but miscarried a few weeks later. although, the 2nd time around it stuck and her little guy is 1 1/2 now!
