Day 10 - okay so i've lost my mind. I can never remember which side my injection goes in (the sides rotate daily). I also addressed my husband's v-day card to my friend Amy because i was talking about her while i was filling out the card. HA HA..
I'm feeling okay. No really bad side effects. Just memory loss/confusion and my chest is a little swollen (i'm ok with that) and sore (not so okay with this). I was told I would start AF most likely on lupron - but have not done so yet. I wasted a needle this morning because i forgot to clean the top of my meds before sticking the needle in - so i just threw it away. I see my extra supply of needles are 29 gauge and the ones i'm using now are 28 gauge. Oh well. The big mommas that i will be using later on are HUGE. I'm not thinking about that yet though - except for apparently in my dreams. I dreamt last night i had to give my own shot (the ones i have to do in my backside/hip) and i couldnt reach right so it went in sideways. Lovely.
I'll post more tomorrow. I've decided the name of my child should incorporate 20K into it somehow ..LOL. Yeah i got jokes...

hey there! i just read your post about the size of the big needles. if your protocol is like mine, the biggies are for mixing only - you actually use small guys (like the ones used for lupron) for the injection. MUCH EASIER!! i hope that's what they have you do. i'm on day 7 of stims... believe it or not, the shots get easier & easier the more you do them! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!
(i'm with you on the 20k name game too! holy crap this better work!).
