Don't bother buying your precious new babies a lot of expensive toys. The only thing they really want to play with is your cell phone (Carter grabs at mine all the time when I pull it out of my purse) and the tags on the toys you buy them (he is more interested in the tags then the actual toys!). Hilarious!
Also please note that babies out-grow everything so FAST so don't spend a ton on clothing in the early months. Some of the stuff I bought Carter he didnt even get a chance to wear. Plus you learn which little outfits you like the best and you keep cycling those.
Always use diaper coupons! They are everywhere. I also never go to babies r us without a coupon - they are usually floating around all the time too.
And finally, you are about to experience the most amazing moment of your life. The first time you lay eyes on your new son/daughter you will immediately just know that you have found the love of your life. You will have never experienced the kind of bond you experience with your baby. I know my instincts have kicked in and I am so protective of him and love him sooo much.
