Carter had his first taste of formula...

Carter had his first formula today. He had nursed at 4:30 and my milk hadnt come back fully by the time he wanted to go to sleep 7:00pm. Or it wasnt fast enough - I dont know. Anyways ... he was crying still and def not full and i was out of milk so I gave him his first bottle of formula and he took it! I'm just glad that I know he will take it but I'm so sad too. It's so weird how emotional you feel when you are b'feeding. I've made it a long time but it breaks my heart to stop. I'm going to continue bfeeding but start supplementing too until I ween completely. GAH.
