Late this afternoon Tommy & I were in the area so we decided to drop in on Dr. Keenan, Donna, and Betsy, who were our IVF doctor and nurses respectively. Anyways, Carter also got to put his blue footprint on their memory wall of all the IVF babies born to the practice. It was so cute and he was like "what in the world" when betsy was painting his toes! Ha! I am so sad that I didn't have my camera on me to record the event but it was extra special because it was also Dr. Keenan's last day with the practice :( We didn't know that until we got there. Bittersweet. He asked me how many embryos we have frozen still and we told him 13 and he did let us know that on the second try (after you have already had a baby) they tend to implant better so we may think about just transferring one embryo vs. two next time. Anyways we are sad that Dr. Keenan is not going to be with the practice anymore. I imagine if we stay with the same practice we will see Dr. Toledo instead at the main office.
On a side note I was at my husband's bank yesterday with Carter. Apparently Tommy is quite the popular one with the ladies there LOL. They all knew him and Carter by name! :) A couple of the girls had new babies and we chatted about our babies for a bit. I gave some advice that I had learned over the last 7 months and bragged about how good of a sleeper Carter was and what a great baby he was and IS. Anyways, we get home and I go to lay him down to sleep and the little booger wouldn't go to sleep for me for almost an hour - so unlike him! Ha he made me eat my words (well kind of). He did sleep through the night, woke up at 6am to eat and then back to sleep until 10AM! Ha! He likes to sleep in like Daddy!
Until next time..

What a special time to visit--hate that you didn't have your camera, but still so special. :o)
