Some useful knowledge... for those wondering
My blood level directly corresponds to my follicle growth on my ovaries. So it should be going up as my follicles grow. Which it is. So that is good news. Once they get to about 2.0 in size (a majority of them) that is when they want to do the retrieval. They dont want it to go to far because that will cause bad eggs - they dont want it be done too early - because that will result in immature eggs. So timing is EVERYTHING. My eggs are retrieved while i am under anesthesia and when i wake up they tell me how many they got. For the next couple days they update me on the progress of the sperm/eggs. 3 days after my retrieval i go in for the insemination - which is sort of like a pap smear. A catheter transfers the embryos (2) into my uterus bypassing my tubes (the problem). 10-14 days after that we find out the results - all the while i have to get shots in my rear of progesterone in oil to sustain the lining of my uterus. Thought i would give out some info in case anyone was wondering :)
