Gah I forgot to post about our beach trip and mothers day

Oops!! For the week before Mother's Day my husband and baby daddy and Carter went to Perdido Key, FL and stayed at this gorgeous condo. It was pure bliss. Vacations are really different now that we have a little one, but he did really well. He also had his first meal out on the balcony in a high chair looking over the ocean. Mommy was paranoid about bringing him out there but we never got near the edge or did a Michael Jackson. We went down with our great friends Mike & Amy and Megan and Kyle and their little ones. While down there we spent time at the beach and put carter in his very own little tent to take a nap when he got tired. It was too cute! Tommy also brought him into the pool but it was like ice and he was having no part of it. I was too chicken to get in so I didnt expect a 6 month baby to! Here are a couple pics...

Oh and for mother's day - we went to brunch at Trackside Grill - a yummy little place with yummy food. I love their fried green tomatoes!!! I couldn't ask for a better family or extended family.
