We had a huge scare with some of my bloodwork coming back positive for toxoplasmosis. I don't know if all of you know what this is but it can cause retardation, blindness in babies if passed to fetus. Well turns out both our postives came back negative from the Palo Alto lab in California (the only lab the CDC recognizes). So we had two false positives! What a relief - but for two week me and my DH were a wreck.
We did get one small miracle out of that whole ordeal. We got an ultrasound with our perinatologist and we got to find out the sex of the baby. It's a BOY!! He is healthy and weighed 8 ounces and measured 6" long at the appt which was almost two weeks ago. We are having a little boy!! :) YAY!
I have posted more ultrasound pics below... Definitely a boy and not shy at all :) the ultrasound tech had to wiggle my belly around to get him to move but he did and showed the goods :)
